Partnerships

The Immigrant Family Services Institute (IFSI) works to educate children from newly-arrived immigrant families. Adopting a “Village Model,” IFSI emphasizes community building across their programs. Boston COVID-Tutoring works with IFSI’s after-school program to provide high-quality homework help.

The Immigrant Learning Center of Malden M.A. is a not for profit that gives immigrant and refugee adults a voice through free English classes, public education, and research.

The Old Colony YMCA serves families in-need from across Southeastern Massachusetts. Through implementing programs focused on wellness, fitness, organized sports, childcare, mentoring, youth development, and social services, the Old Colony YMCA has assisted numerous adolescents with navigating difficult situations and transitioning into a happy adulthood. Boston COVID-Tutoring runs a program focused on helping adolescents build life-skills, including courses in ethics and personal finance.

The International Institute of New England (IINE) assists newly-arrived refugees and asylum seekers in successfully transitioning to life in America. IINE also helps to reunite Spanish-speaking unaccompanied minors from Central America with their families. Boston COVID-Tutoring provides free, one-on-one tutoring in Spanish to these unaccompanied minors.

Promise the Children is an advocacy organization that supports public and private programs for low-income families. Since its founding in 1999, Promise the Children has conducted numerous advocacy efforts focused on assisting child-care providers and under-funded public schools. In addition, Promise the Children promotes the expansion of Medicaid and responsible gun regulation. Boston COVID-Tutoring recently partnered with Promise the Children to provide free homework help to students in-need.
